J C's Cafe - Golden

Excellent cafe and a must try when you are in Golden. Food is delicious with incredible service to match. The atmosphere is unique with customers hand written names and notes all over the walls. You can tell this is the place where the locals frequent. Hand carved meats on the sandwiches show the classic style of their food.

Leaving golden we were looking for a good breakfast spot and we were blown away! Phenomenal service, exceptionally delicious food, fresh homemade biscuits, and generous portions! All for an absolute steal! 10/10 would go again.

Good ol family run breakfast. Tastes great, service was good. Price realistic for the time this review was posted. Would recommend!

I eat here at least once a week, if I can get a parking spot. Rellenos and chicken fried steak are my favorites. Excellent, down home cooking. I've recommended several times.

Whoa... what a surprise this little gem in the wall! I loved it! We got the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with sausage gravy. Also the chili relleno lunch with green chili sauce! And the mash which is biscuits, hash browns covered in gravy and bacon, and an egg! The soup was super good! The rice beans and green beans (sides) weren’t the best but I didn’t even mind I def plan on going back!
