Sonic Drive-in - Golden

We ordered the eggplant, expecting to receive it in small round slices, but it arrived halved instead. Unfortunately, it didn’t stay hot for long and ended up being a bit on the colder side. The dish had a sweet flavor, but I wouldn’t choose it again. On a positive note, it’s a fantastic spot to gather with friends for food and coffee. I tried the shakshouka, which was similar to an authentic version, but I’ve certainly had better elsewhere. The bruschetta came topped with pesto, and I’d recommend either serving the pesto on the side or leaving it out entirely, as it was rather overpowering. Overall, the atmosphere deserves a 4 out of 5, while the service was a solid 5 out of 5.

Sonic offers a refreshing alternative to the usual overly processed fast food. The meat genuinely tastes like real meat rather than soy patties. Additionally, their variety of slushes and drinks is impressive. I highly recommend visiting during happy hour when drinks are 50% off. Don’t miss out on trying the peach mango slush!

I recommend visiting Sonic on the first Saturday of every month to check out the cat show. It can get pretty crowded during the car shows, but Sonic manages to serve food efficiently. While the food may not be the best, the experience of the car shows makes it worth the trip.
