Good place to go to shoot pool !!! Usually bartender knows what she's doing and keeps the brews coming and never asks a name for the tab. Tonight was a new gal and had to remind herself by asking every beer who I was. Kind of annoying but not too bad.

This. Sadly is the last of post country realism in this once family mirrored beer joints. Working family's extended characters of clans, all brothers.sisters. bonded by beer and a casual exceptance of anyone. Few here are bonded by blood. Tho admonishment when warrented came swift. And sure..you barred my boy Bruce for an understanding of lawful carnage knowledge. At nite in his own vehicle. concentual conquest.. For that u loose one star. He dead now. And not much worried bout it.I'm sure. Fact they both are. This a place of trucks ,loaded up on catfish from tournament days. And very cold beers. 8 ball and memories. Square red ashtrays in there well vented surrounds. I,d go check it . these are the last bastions. They,ll build no more.

I was in Gonzales for the annual charity catfish tournament. The team I was supporting took 3rd place with 309# of catfish. Boomer's was wild and crszy as usual. A good time was had by all. See y'all next spring
