Cafe Rio Mexican Grill - Goodyear

I had a delicious chicken burrito with green sauce, beans, cheese, and sour cream on the side. The grilled chicken was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, giving it great flavor. I also tried the steak and grilled chicken tacos, which were equally delicious. The fresh lettuce and pico de gallo provided a nice balance to the meal.

I usually have nothing but praise for this restaurant, but my most recent experience was disappointing. I had scheduled curbside pickup and arrived just one minute before my designated time. Despite waiting in my car in the sweltering 112° heat, it took about 8 minutes for an employee to finally come out. When I walked inside, I saw five employees standing around with nothing to do, an empty lobby, and only one car in the drive-thru. I grabbed my food from the takeout shelf and left, only to find that the salad I ordered was extremely small and lacking in lettuce, despite requesting extra lettuce instead of beans and rice. It seemed like the person who made the salad wasn't a fan of lettuce, as they skimped on it in my order.

Sorry for missing the pictures of the food but I took a picture of this place and this was my First time coming here and yuck ???? the food was nasty and I paid for 2 veggie burritos ???? it was pricey, I thought give them a try maybe it 's worth the higher price but No it wasn 't and Guacamole doesn 't come with your veggie burrito u have to pay for that like 2.49 or 2.99 for the bigger size side of Guacamole your choice but...MY experience is not a satisfying one, they do not stuff your burritos for u like how every other restaurant does and the cilantro is not chopped it literally comes with the stems still attached SMH I had to break off the steams on the cilantroand place it inside my burrito before eating that burritos and the wrap wasn 't cooked all the way SMH this place is awful. Do not waste your Energy folks and do not waste your money or credit on your credit cards and young children/Teenagers do Not waste your allowance money on this food here trust me it 's not worth it at all. How are they in business ????? Like seriously and the hot sauce is disgusting and it was $26.01 for 2 Veggie Burritos. Not a gain. I would Not feed this food to a dog, it 's that nasty. Thank me later.

Was charged extra for more rice and beans in the bowl. I was charged as it was 2 sides because I ask for both kinds of beans and a little more rice. I asked for 2 meats which I have no problem paying extra for. I?ve never heard of anywhere charging extra for rice or beans. By the time I paid for my 1 dinner with chips it was up to $28

First time going here, recommended to us. The ordering process is the same as Chipotle, but the flavors are way better. It?s about time a fast food restaurant offers home made flour tortillas which do not have a ?preservative? taste. The server who helped us out was nice and helpful, especially because we told her it was our first time. I would?ve given them a 5 star, but they can improve in cleanliness around their food compartments, making sure the food looks fresh and not overheated, and keeping up with cleaning the tables. Other than that, we?d definitely return. When a restaurant has good salsas, most often the food doesn?t disappoint. To the chef, the pollo asado was great, except for the sweet taste in it. Great food options though! To management, please consider bringing one of these restaurants to Estrella Mountain Ranch.
