Lovely couple, excellent food, great atmosphere. Very good and attentive service, highly recommended
I first came here thirteen years ago and it was always a favourite place to bring the children. The meals are still excellent value, good ingredients, simply cooked in a pleasant rural setting. What spoiled it for us this time was that there were so many flies in the dining room. We wished we had brought a fly swat or sticky tape traps. We will come again, but in winter when there are no insect visitors.
I love the Poule au Pot and was very disappointed when they shut a few years ago. So delighted when they re-opened. We went in August and the food was as good as always, but our third course - omelette au cepes - had a whole black beetle in it. However we still went back for more a couple of weeks later. And some friends of ours went last week and lo and behold there was another beetle. But you know what? We'll still go back. It's the most authentic place to eat in the area. Clientele mainly local. We just like it.
Very good food not the smartest of restaurants but the food certainly makes up for that the staff are all very friendly
