Most of the food is produced locally and the vegetables are predominantly organic. They are served generous portions of home cooked food. Do not misunderstand me, although I characterize it as home cooking, it is delicious and very professional. This is a couple who put skills, heart and soul in their culinary art. My husband and I shared a salad with foie grass and dried duck magret for beginners. Nicely presented and served with roasted bread and homemade Chutney. To follow, I chose the veal scale with Morels and cream sauce and had monks with rice and vegetables in curry sauce. Both incredibly delicious. I had no room for dessert, but my husband chose a nut cake with orange cream and salted caramel sauce. I had a taste. It was heavenly, and I wish I had more room, but maybe next time? If you are interested in traditional French cuisine, go to Goujounac. Remember to book in advance as the restaurant can only accommodate 14 people.
You won't find any better chefs than Jean Pierre and Jocelyne! I love everything I've cost so far (which is quite a lot) They cook with passion and that is what you taste in their food. It's perfect!
