I’m so, so happy I found Sweet Beet! The baked goods are seriously on another level, I was blown away. I’m a classically trained pastry chef with 10+ yrs experience, so my standards are HIGH…but honestly their cake is some of the best I’ve ever had. Like ever. I actually forgot it was gf, and when I remembered my husband (who is neither gf nor vegan) literally refused to believe it until I showed him the website. I’m getting married in September and I will definitely be getting the cake done here. Also, the selection of products is excellent! I found a couple specialty vegan items that I’d trying to get for months (miyokos pourable mozz for pizza, a black garlic cashew cheese I could only find in Brooklyn, smokehouse deli slices, plus more). I tried some of their prepared foods they make in house and really liked them all (the curry carrot slaw was soooo gooood). Obviously their items are a little pricey, but for a specialty store like this that’s what I expected.Tragically I live 30 mins away, but the drive is totally worth it.
Great food and interesting items on the shelves. The problem is they permanently eliminated seating, or even a place to stand and eat. No restroom. It's just take out.
This place is so cute. Try the sweet beet salad with a scoop of curry chickpea! Everything I’ve ever gotten here has been delicious. I go to Granby in the summer for swimming and biking and this place makes the trip 40% better.
Just fantastic Chili and Mexican Pie. So tasty! Can't wait to try more dishes.
