Whitecaps at the Bend - Grand Bend

Was there so long we ended up dealing with two servers. They were friendly and did the best they could. But waited over 45 minutes between ordering and getting food and the place was not that busy, but understaffed. Food quality was average/basic at best. Second server apologized repeatedly and made offers of discounts/additional items to make it right - which we appreciated.

Bottom line was that everyone in my group thought the food was good. I personally wasn't a huge fan of the seasoning on the fries. The issue was that it took an extremely long time to get our food (just burgers/chicken sandwiches and fries). I'm pretty sure we were the only people at the restaurant at the time so I'm not sure if both cooks were on an extended break or maybe our server was. The chicken sandwiches were cold when we finally got them but the fries were hot.

Whitecap never disappoints. Always great food. Great drinks. Great staff!! Definitely worth a try when visiting Grand Bend

Never eaten here to be honest but iv had my fair share of beers, the beer comes cold so thats a winner for me

The food here is consistently good. No complaints. The staff can't do enough to please you. The only complaint I have, is the patio. It's disgusting. Dirty, old cigarette butts all over, grimy tables and absolutely no view. Just dirty. Feels like you are caged up. So, we just sit inside and enjoy the food.
