I enjoyed my visit to this restaurant - it was cozy, quiet, peaceful, and clean.
When I first moved to Grand Haven I needed a temporary place until I found an apartment. I met Sheila through a mutual friend, and she set me up with a small apartment at Serendipity, which she manages. I had the top (third floor) spot in the main building (corner of 2nd and Franklin). It was so cool, with wood paneling that made it feel like a cabin.
Great location right in the middle of downtown to it is an easy walk to the main area of Grand Haven. The rooms are all converted houses that could use a little updating, but the place is super clean and the staff was extremely friendly.
Quaint and with Colonial charm. The apartment Suite that we stayed in was clean and the location was amazing, within a few minutes walk of the main street with multiple restaurants and shops. Beach and Lighthouse Pier were also about 15 minutes walking distance, but we elected to drive there instead because of all of our beach supplies. The apartment is in need of some upkeep, some of the floors are cracked should be considered for repair or replacement. Also, I booked this place thinking we could use the pool as it was mentioned in multiple other reviews. However the pool is now private property and we are unable to use it. Begs the question of how this place can be labeled as a Resort I would consider staying here again, but not before checking out other options.
