Ale House - Grand Junction

I had a very nice lunch here. The atmosphere is very open and peaceful, and the bartenders are attentive and friendly!I had an excellent cider here on a rainy fall afternoon, and got the elk burger. It was an excellent choice, and earned itself a very solid rating from me with no complaints!

I use to love this place, and still sort of do. It’s one of the best in Grand Junction. They have cut the portion of Jamaican J Chicken in half!! It’s still $19.00 but literally half of what they use to serve. Charge me more, I get it, times are tough and the cost of everything has increased, but a 50% hike!?!? C'mon Man…

Atmosphere was great, server was good. But food was mediocre and not served even with a mere pickle, the french dip. But the $1.02 tip ADDED to the bill, for kitchen surcharge of 3%, was a surprise. I ask our server about it and she said it is stated on the menu . Does not the restaurant owner pay the kitchen staff? I had not been to the ale house in 6 yrs and now will not return at all......

Good vibe in the restaurant... wasn't super pleased with the food choices and very over priced for the quality/quantity of food.

Came in for an early dinner on Saturday and had the best experience. Our server kelsay was great, she recommended the special of the day which happened to be enchiladas and they were delicious! Definitely recommend coming here!
