The Cooks Pantry - GRANGE

The coffee is beautiful, food is good, location is along the main and side road. You'll need to find your parking in the side road which is always busy, we did not mind walking as we only found a bit distance available parking. Ambience inside is simple nothing exciting. We decided to sit outside. The staff could have wipe the table better, she rushed and left some piece from previous diners (i hope they'll be more careful during this covid).

Great smoothies, coffees and fresh meals all at affordable prices. My favourite is the banana smoothie. Tomato bruschetta is another favorite too. Sit outside and you’ll get the sea breeze which is lovely. Friendly staff. Great selection of desserts too if you were wanting something sweet.

I asked for the 'Focaccia ' with bacon and egg only as I 'd had this before, but hadn 't been in for a while. Unfortunately for me this time it was covered in chutney/relish and for me pretty much inedible. When I asked why I wasn 't given an option to exclude when ordering (not mentioned on the menu) I was told Focaccia always has chutney/relish . Hmm, perhaps in your family, I thought. No offer of a refund or ready and cheerful offer of a remake.

The Cooks Pantry is exactly what Grange needs. This place is unique and different to many of the other stock standard cafes and eateries around the area. I do eat here often, but should really try some of their other dishes. I can never go past their “Poached eggs with Avocado Salsa” for breakfast. The serving of this dish is a little small for my liking, but the tastes that come from this dish certainly make up for this. The ingredients are always fresh, and when combined with one of their awesome coffees, makes for a perfect breakfast, or brunch. Keep up the good work guys!

Had a couple of places to chose from for a 3.30pm coffee break and unfortunately chose this one. Coffee was cold. Service was prompt although customer interaction was minimal. Didn’t feel welcomed. Won’t be back.
