Not sure if Frankie's Granite Falls location sold to new owners in the last 3.5 yrs, but today was definitely our last time ordering. When we first moved here, we frequented often and never had any issues with the food always being delicious. Tonight we ordered 2 8 subs. A steak and cheese and a grilled chicken. Both subs were so greasy that the bread was completely soaked through to the bottom and the sandwich literally fell apart in 2 bites, my husband used a fork and threw the other 4 in the trash. Tomatoes were slimy and soured, shredded lettuce was browning, didn't see or taste any mayo vinegar or oil on mine, threw mine out too after a few bites. The fried ravioli had to be freezer burnt because the edges were so hard and chewy, plus it just tasted off. I don't mind paying $30 for 2 subs and an appetizer, typically the other half would be lunch the next day, trash got the other $15 bucks and Frankie's lost a 3.5 yr regular customer.
Nice and clean place. Big size pizza yummy! And delicious steak sandwiches.. and don't forget the calzone
I spent $172 on an order and they had hardly any toppings on my Frankie special 24 pizza $41.50). I called back and spoke to the same girl I placed the order with ; Crystal. I told her what the issue was and I requested some money back. She replied that they don 't do that. I told her I took a picture of the pizza because I knew. The cook told her that he put everything on it. I told her that I would bring the picture to show her. She said We will remake your pizza with extra toppings I replied with saying They 're already eating the pizza, I have 15 people here and they 're hungry, do I need to bring the pizza back? She said No ma 'am . I wait a bit and send my son back up to get the pizza and she hasn 't made it, wants to see the picture and then said we can give you a 16 pizza. I lost it. I called back and nobody answered the phone. So I called from my nephew 's phone and Crystal answered on the first ring. She then lied and told me that she said she would see what she could do while on the phone with me. I told her she was lying and trying to tell me things that were never said. She refused to give me her name, but it 's on my receipt. This is the worse experience we have ever had here. Usually the good is great and the employees are nice. Tonight they just couldn 't get it together. Messed up a $42 pizza, the wings were over cooked and dry. Then having to deal with Crystal being ride and lying and evasive. I told her I would call back and speak to the Owner. And I hope to hear from him. Her are pictures of the pizza we got, what out should look like and the receipt.
I ordered off their app, it gave me a 30 minute approximate time of pick up and another 30 minutes later so an hour after I ordered I finally got a pizza I was too upset to eat after demanding my money back since my other hadn’t even been started.
