Digger's Bistro - Greater Shepparton

Great bistro in central part of town, good service good price even if your not a member. Always a smile and recomendations on menu are great. Great sports type bar attached.

Came for dinner Easter Saturday, bistro was very busy which is expected however our party of five had quite a long wait for meals. They came out for two people who were halfway through their meals when the next two came out and finally about five minutes later the last meal arrived. All meals should've been brought out together. The steaks were cooked nicely and tasted great but all remarked that there were too many chips on the plates. I ordered calamari rings only to receive processed calamari and not the real thing! This should've been noted on the menu. Not enough tartare sauce or salad dressing. I'm usually pretty easy to please and don't expect much but if I order calamari then I think it's fair to expect the real thing. Prices were good but still ended up a disappointing meal.

Always a great meal here. The plate is always full of goodies. The service is great and the staff are very friendly. There is a good atmosphere and the bistro is very popular

The one thing you wont complain about with this venue is the size of the meals - they are huge and represent really good value, well presented and very tasty. A range of Aussie and chinese menu options are available and I was surprised how quickly the meals were served, even on a very busy night. Good range of wines and beers, couldnt ask for more.

I have had many meals at Diggers Bistro with my sister and brotherinlaw ,they are locals ,the food is excellent and good price nd the staff are so friendly ,i carn't folt it
