Tucked away in Durham St, the stairs that lead down to this place is in between BBQ King and Kushi. This place lets you create your own dish using the ingredients you pick and you are charged based on the weight. I have been told that the minimum weight is 400g. I paid a bit more than $15 for 433 grams. I picked the vermicelli noodles, beef for my meat (you can mix and match but I thought I’d keep it simple for my first time), bok choy, spinach, lotus, mushrooms, potatoes, fish balls, rice cakes etc. All the ingredients are in a chilled area(but unfortunately they are left uncovered. I asked for the “dry pot” and medium spicy (spiced with mala so it will make your tongue feel numb). My pot of delicious spicy stir fry was cooked and served to me!
Great place for the CBD locals, best prices in the CBD and big portions. Black pepper beef with rice or sauteed beef with rice are so good, nomnom. See eat-in and takeaway pictures attached.
Reasonable price with large portion size of meal and desserts. Love the desserts but not a fan of the spicy pot.
Beautiful dumplings best in Auckland and price beats them all, adorable and highly recommended.
I like the noodles here the best in the world. I forgot the name of this noodle, so please tell me. I will go to eat again.
