Porto Bello - GREENPORT

I wholeheartedly recommend Porto Bello and give it a full five-star rating. From the moment we were greeted by the hostess to the warm farewell from our server, the entire staff was exceptional. I honestly can’t believe I overlooked this gem in my own hometown, but I have no regrets now. The food is outstanding, heavily featuring local seafood. The waterfront setting, complete with a dock, is a definite bonus. I enjoyed the Tuna Burger, and I highly recommend the fantastic Lobster Roll as well. Don’t forget to try the Key Lime pie; it’s a must!

This is our first visit to the area. We arrived from the ferry and we were looking for a place to lunch. We had the muscles for our appetizer. I'm sorry I didn't get a picture when we just started eating. But they were delicious. Then I had the fish (Tuna) Tacos. Absolutely perfect. Michael, our waiter, was helpful, timely and friendly. He was wonderful. So why only four stars. The seat for two outsides is not ideal. We had the choice without shadow or seat next to the gas pump and smell gas while we ate. We sat in the sun. The hostess was no help. The hostess also asked what kind of water I wanted. I said sparkle. I got ****. It wasn't important. Parking is free, but limited. The prices are up there. But plan to enjoy it. The view is beautiful. I would come back and be very specific where I wanted to sit. The food is worth it.

Wow! I had my bridal shower here yesterday, and I couldn't have asked for a better venue! The food was amazing. Everyone's steak was cooked perfectly—something that rarely happens at bigger events. My curry bowl was delicious, with perfectly cooked and fresh shrimp, just the right amount of spices. The location is right by the water, and the ambiance is stunning both inside and out. I had a fantastic time and would absolutely recommend this place for dining or hosting your next event. Thank you! 10/10!

Our dinner was absolutely delightful. The service was excellent, the food was superb, and we really appreciated the ambiance. We kicked off our meal with several appetizers, all of which were delicious, but our standout favorites were the scallops and the tuna tartare. For our main courses, we had the tuna steak and the seafood bouillabaisse, both of which were outstanding. We also enjoyed the live piano music and the attentive staff. I highly recommend Porto Bello and will definitely be back.

Beautiful waterfront restaurant.. each time I meet other locals and never eating and drinking without great conversation. Tuna Crudo is one of my favorite first plates.. luiguini and fresh clams when on menu is a must dish. Chicken milanese is best you will have,large and moist. Grilled Tuna steak another nice plate Bruce and Peter do a fantastic job as owners,making sure to chat up with each guest and be sure your having the best time.
