I went with their Butternut Squash curry and I 'm not sure if the person preparing this that day was just heavy handed on the spices or if this is the standard. It wasn 't heat, just too strong, it took away from the rest of the dish. I wouldn 't order that again. My son had the honey chicken sandwich which he has come to really enjoy. Our other guest had the cubano who said it was pretty good. We shared the bananas foster for dessert. It probably shouldn 't have that name, it didn 't hit the mark at all. All three of us wished we had chosen something else. The puff pastry didn 't do much for the balance of the plate, it had an odd flavor that just didn 't belong. Of course, food is subjective, could be that I just don 't 'jive ' with what they are trying to do there. I 'll definitely go back and try other items to see if I just picked the wrong items for me that day.
The food here is so good and I love that they have so many vegan options. The service was amazing and our server was perfect! Love the drinks here as well! Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options available.
The atmosphere is both cozy and polished. The indoor plants are thriving! Everly is great for both lunchtime snacks or a full dinner and dessert. We’ve never been disappointed leaving a meal in the years that Everly has been around.
Stopped here for Brunch on a Sunday. Atmosphere is very light and bright and we were seated right away, which was great. The server came by promptly and took both our food and drink order right way. Our drinks came quickly but the food took far too long and when it arrived it was warm, not hot. I ordered the vegan veggie scramble (with tofu) which was supposed to have seasonal vegetables in it. The only vegetables I could see were 5 half slices of cherry tomato, and a few shavings of what could have been asparagus? That was it for a veggie scramble. I was expecting onion, mushroom, zucchini, broccoli or something more. So it was pretty much a giant plate of seasoned tofu for $14. Pretty disappointing.
Popped into Everly for a quick lunch. Opted for an appetizer which was PLENTY big as a lunch entree. This spicy tuna poke with grilled pineapple and radish over tapioca chips was heavenly. Light enough where I didn’t feel weighed down after but completely satisfied. Ended up bringing home a mango curd tart for later but haven’t gotten to it yet!
