It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to this beloved restaurant, but we are looking forward to what the future may bring. We always enjoy trying their specials, whether it's the duck or their deliciously unique meatballs. The fondant dessert is absolutely heavenly and we never leave without ordering it, no matter how full we are. For dinner, expect to spend about $30–50 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive top ratings from us. We highly recommend trying their Assiette De Charcuterie for sharing and their Fondant Au Chocolat dessert.
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to visit La Kitchenette before they permanently closed. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. I only wish I had discovered this gem sooner so I could have tried more of their menu. The restaurant receives a perfect score of 5 for its service and atmosphere.
After we found out this place was going to close down, we had to try it out. We could not find any reservations. Luckily, we were able to get takeouts. Oh boy, it did not disappointed. We got the dinner for 2 package deal that they had for Tuesdays. The package included French onion soups and beef bourguignon. The beef bourguignon was rich in flavors. It had a lot of the red wine flavor which I was not a big fan of. I don't like red wines. But the beef was so tender and so good with the mashed potatoes that I overlooked the red wine smell. The French onion soups were good. We also got lavender crème brûlée. It was very interesting and yummy. So sad that this place would close down. I wish I could try more foods from them.
