It was the first Vietnamese eatery on the West Bank or nearby and has been in business for 30 years, with the same owner and chef the entire time. She has announced that she will be closing for retirement, which is a loss for everyone. We wish her, her family, and her employees all the best for their years of service.
Delicious! Everything is always fresh, hot, and tasty! The Mandarin Chicken is outstanding. The quality of the food is excellent. I really enjoy this place for lunch. The male waitstaff are fantastic. I keep coming back for the amazing food and speedy service!
It has been there for many years since Tina's son Andy was born. The food is delicious, and Tina and the staff are great. Hearty news that Kim Son will close soon.
The exterior and the interior look like they had only been cleaned up since 1982. I ordered the lunch Special Sweet Sour Pork, which came with a crispy egg scooter that rivaled Fong's in Kenner (which has the best egg rolls in the New Orleans area). The fried rice and pork was hot and delicious, and nothing was fat. I want to go back and look at her Vietnamese offers. RJT
I always make sure to find time for an In-N-Out burger. Their consistency is the key to their success. The freshness of the ingredients and their cooking style are truly commendable.
