Contribuisci feedbackWe were visiting Gstaad and decided to have dinner at the Summit. Dinner was ok. When the bill came there was a charge of 11 CHF and I asked what this amount was for. It was unbelievable that hot water with lemon was charged. There are many good things about Alpina but this was an absolute shock. I have never experienced this anywhere in the world in hotels which are of Alpina’s star rating or even better. I went to two other hotels and other restaurants to see if this was standat practice; no its not. Reflects lack of class and greed.
Sommet is a seriously good gastronomic restaurant had the tasting menu). Creative, superb quality, one of the better haute cuisine meals I have had for a while.... Of note was a black cod with Asian inspiration, followed by a very traditional venison and duck liver...both were amongst some of the best interpretations I have had of these relatively classic ingredients.... definitely high end one star Michelin level of cooking , combining this with the super luxurious surroundings of the Alpina hotel and always pleasant service ... worth a detour Michelin would say Prices are not inexpensive, but with a very good regional and affordable) Swiss wine list , not that much more than an evening meal in any Gstaad restaurant.
Tolle Speisekarte mit vielen originellen Gerichten. Wunderschön angerichtet. Nur zu empfehlen. Schöne Tische, toller Service.
Tolle Küche verbunden mit hochprofessionellem und sehr freundlichem Service. Die Weinpreise sind eher hoch aber die Karte mit Schweizer Weinen ist angemessen. Dies ist allerdings nur eine kleine Kritik. Danke für einen sehr schönen Abend.
Restaurant is located at the same place where we breakfast, beautiful area. Most workers are Italians probably all so could understand all their comments and small conversations that was funny, especially they make "batute" commenting other guests, us. I couldn't care less, only they should make sure that many guests don't look, but can speak perfectly Italian. Try both tasting menu of vegetarian and regular. Food is good, not best we have ever tried, but the service was too slow... We are almost asleep and it was not as if they put 100% in the training staff to be really proud of dishes and efforts about the food. Not sure if this restaurant is running the Michelin Prize. Desserts looked good, but without special taste. Would you like to return here?
