I would recommend a maximum of 1 2 hours here, but if you can play longer over children with the arches and arrows. Also great guided tours every hour amazing guides, very enthusiastic.
What an amazing experience we had there. This Viking village is a wonderful place Fjord giving you a great idea how life as a Viking would be back in the days. You have free tours in different languages where guides give you about the Vikings, and it was very informative (plus our guide was really entertaining with his explanations). In addition to the tour you are free to walk the village where there are activities that you (architecture and axe throw) and things you can buy. The small shop at the entrance has a lot to buy. I would definitely recommend it!
With high detail, the life of the Vikings in a village with their everyday life is vividly depicted and you can participate in this. With guided tours, the history of the Vikings is brought closer to you, whether it is the plundering, the production of clothing, forging or even the worship of the gods. Whether it is playing hnefatafl with the village elder or watching the village blacksmith (a real blacksmith where you can also take courses in the winter) forging ancient objects, everything about it is immense fun.
Pretty good. Our guide was very beautiful and well versed in Viking/norsemen lore. The village was quite large and after approx. 30 minutes tour you could go around the village and make various things with the inhabitants. It also has a very good gift shop.
This tour was really cool. Nice and informative. People there are supposed to be a real Viking and live in the village, but I haven't seen a real neighborhood, so who knows I might have missed it. You have some cool buildings and explain a cool story. We warned axes. Some Vikings bleed a war horn for us. It was a cool place.
