Matts Homemade Alabama Ice Cream

Great selection of homemade ice cream. Would recommend going earlier as some of the more popular flavors sell out by the end.

The ice cream was amazing and service was superior. I searched for the most highly recommended place and was not disappointed. I am so picky. So are my family members. All five of us loved our ice cream and my son also got candy.

If you look around, there are much more enjoyable places to grab ice cream in the area than this opportunistic tourist trap. Over $20 for 2 ice cream cones. Nothing exceptional. Ice cream is just ice cream. Wish I had the $20 bucks back and they had their grocery store ice cream back. Parking is a nightmare with 6 foot wide spots and no room to back out. Drive right on past this place they don't deserve to succeed.

We tried the ice cream and banana split, and they were both delicious. While I find the ice cream prices at all the shops in Gulf Shores to be a bit high, the quality makes it worth it.

Delicious ice cream with a wide variety of intriguing flavors! They also had an appealing selection of chocolates and hard candies. Although we had to wait in a long line, the staff efficiently managed the crowd. Inside, seating was limited, but we were fortunate to find a table. Many people were enjoying their treats in creative spots outside. We had one lactose-intolerant member in our group of nine, and they only offered one dairy-free option (raspberry sorbet). It would be great to see another flavor added or perhaps a more neutral option available.
