The Pub - Guymon

I’ve been in Guymon since the end of May for work. About 2 months ago all the sudden there was no tap beer.then no bottled beer, then no wine or liquor. Turns out someone in “upper management” dropped the ball on a liquor and beer license. I believe the place is shutting down but “upper management” doesn’t have the balls to tell the staff. Let me say food is good, staff is good.the staff.needs to wake up and find another place to work because this is a joke. I’ve tried to support them but I just can’t anymore.

I ordered my fajitas, paid for them, and told the waitress I wanted them to go. I waited what seemed like forever. Finally the waitress, who was a total sweetheart and tried her best to help, informs me that the cooks made my order and they think it went to someone else. I told her I’d wait for them to remake it. She then let me know that the cooks REFUSED to make it again. To them, it was made and paid for, end of story. She wanted to help me but they just refused. It was like rocket science them trying to decide whether or not to remake the food I never got. The waitress spent time on the phone with the manager trying to get her to ok them to remake the meal I paid for and hadn’t got. Needless to say I waited an additional 30 minutes for the manager to arrive. Surely this is a no brainer fixing this. NOPE!!! She also stumbled around trying to decide what to do. The food was cold and nasty, had no taste what so ever, and ultimately the meal in it’s entirety went in the trash. After what seemed like all night dealing with this mess I had a Hershey Bar from the vending machine for dinner. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone and I will not be back.

Breakfast is so awesome! Fries are the best too so we get the best of both! We get the nature your own omelet with sausage ham and mushrooms. Their pancakes are good also.

Love this place. Have tried chicken strips, french dip sandwich and several other entrees. All with HUGE portions, great taste. Tried their breakfast and it was great as well. Prices are very reasonable. Nothing at all to complain about. Wish there was one of these in Edmond, OK.

Ate here while passing through Guymon. Ordered the chicken and shrimp dish, which was very good although I think it would have been better without the cheese. (Not a complaint, just a subjective observation). Service was good. I had to wait some time for the check but I saw the waitress was dealing with a table of about a dozen old ladies which I'm sure was punishment enough for making me wait. Lol. Overall, it was clean, had good food and good service.
