Wow. We frequent this restaurant often, and the service is usually quite good. However, today the service was exceptional, prompting me to write this review. Our waitress, who referred to herself as "an older lady with a bun" (despite being younger than us), was fantastic. Despite our non-standard order, everything was executed flawlessly. The outdoor seating area had a lovely atmosphere, with a nice mix of clientele and a comfortable noise level. We feel lucky to have Kaffeine Cafe as our neighborhood spot.
I wish I could say this has been a one off, unfortunately every time I have visited this local cafe we are greeted with incredibly unfriendly, uninterested, short and rude staff. For a cafe that has the monopoly on a small shopping centre and is a local to many, I’m very disappointed that the staff don’t make the effort to create relationships and familiarity with their local clientele, or at a minimum present a welcoming warm greeting for what after all is dominantly a service industry. The coffee is overpriced and average. On a plus side the breakfast I have had here is really good, well priced good serving size but unfortunately this is overshadowed by the food pretty much getting thrown on your table by someone who makes you feel as though you have inconvenienced them. I won’t be returning in a hurry and prefer to pump my money into other locally run cafesthat appreciate your business.
This is a terrific cafe where it appears to also very popular with a lot of the clientele. The place has seating inside and into the shopping area of the centre, it is situated. We didn't have breakfast on this occasion but a hell of a lot of others were. The meals looked great and prices were very reasonable. We enjoyed a coffee here and we will endeavour to return in the near future .
Ordered a soy cap, when I got it I knew it was way too hot. Soy is meant to steamed at a lower heat 50-55c. Tasted burnt and ruined the coffee.
