Taj Mahal Curry Palace

This restaurant in Gympie is hands down the best place for curry. They offer a wide variety of options and are generous with their meat and vegetables, unlike other restaurants in Gympie that serve watery curries. The staff is incredibly friendly, and I have never had to wait long whether dining in or getting takeaway.

We had dinner here recently to try some where different. We enjoy Indian restaurants and really enjoy Ambrosia at South side and use this as a benchmark for the other similar places in town. Taj Mahal is easily on par with excellent food, great service and prices that are cheap. More than enough food per serve. Great value.Downers- No ice for drinks!!Bring your own alcohol.Try it and you will not be dissappointed.

Bought curries from here on the weekend. The Korma was very nice, but the others were average to say the least. Probably won't go back as I've had better curries at other places in town.Great service and very nice staff though. Naan bread was good too

Looking for a good curry on Saturday night. Read the reviews as always and found this restaurant. I'm sorry but I have no idea how it got any good reviews. The currys were just watered down sauce with old meat. The garlic naan was a strange kind of pizza base. .tomato sauce on it?? I have to say never had such a bad indian takeaway if we had eaten in I would have sent it back and asked for a refund. Both myself and my partner got upset stomachs even after only eating a small amount and throwing the rest away. Can't believe that was a one off bad night. Will not be going back.

Great food, fresh flavours. The Peshwari nan was particularly good. Very very fresh. This place clearly had a good chef somewhere behind the scenes
