Contribuisci feedback5 stars! I don't really like diners but I'm starting to warm up to them! This one was nice!!! I walked inside and it was bright and warming! I even took a video of the bathroom! It was so clean. Very busy on a Monday at 1:30pm but I understand why! Food was delicious. Drinks were good and the dessert was awesome! Manager responded quickly when my guest was given a drink with blueberries (we didn't know they would garnish it and she's allergic). We just switched drinks to prevent inconvenience. I took a picture of receipt because I knew I would forget what we ordered. For 2 people, we spent about $100. Expensive but it's ok once in awhile.
I haven't been here since it was the Eagle Rock Diner. Or, I should say, since the Eagle Rock Diner was at this location because this is so much different than the old diner. It is a new building in a different spot on the property which affords customers a nice view of Manhattan.Everyone in our party was more than satisfied with their meals which ranged from a cheese omelet to caprese avocado toast to an open-faced pastrami Reuben (pictured). Service was prompt and attentive and this was during peak Sunday brunch.I grew up in the area but live out-of-state now and this was my son's first visit to a Jersey diner. He did acknowledge that he didn't think these diners could be as good as I've always told him, but Chit Chat represented very well. We'll be back!Parking: The main reason it was hard to find parking was that my visit was during Sunday brunch. There is overflow parking, just a short walk away, at the bowling alley.
Came to visit family in NJ and my brother took me here and it was a nice place to come for breakfast and glad we picked this place. I was hungry after the flight and service was pretty fast, the eggs were done just as I like them “moist” not dry. Wish they served “home fries” but unfortunately they only have hash browns and I’m not a fan of it, in general.Regardless everything else made up for it. The coffee was good and refilled as often as you needed. The sausage also tasted delicious.Service was good, and friendly we were even talking to the guys that clean up the tables. They kept asking if we needed anything else, water, more coffee! Napkins, Very attentive.I was curious about their other dishes, maybe in future! ?Parking: The layout of the parking lot it’s a but weird. Just park as assigned based on the marking on the floor
The manager were very rude and they are racist, the food was nasty I send my pan fried salmon back the brought it and it was still nasty… save your money and avoid coming here… the service is terrible the management don’t accommodate you they make excuses… overall a terrible experienceFood: 1/5
Great looking place we were seated immediately we sat for over 20 minutes while one waiter went to everyone but us then another must of been on break because he was sitting . I finally said let’s go to my husband on our way out he said I’m hungry so we sat at the counter and the waitress took care of immediately skillet and pancakes were good . 2 nd visit two days later was takeout the chicken franchise was good . They are building a outside dining area . I probably will try eating in one more time . Service is equally as important as the food
