Simon's Kitchen - Hackensack

I tried the yellow rice and beans with the red and green hot sauces, and it was fantastic. The entire place looks wonderful, and I noticed many locals coming in for takeout. Food: 5/5.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The customer service was lacking, and the staff had unpleasant attitudes, partly because of our communication barriers. This was my second chance to give them my business. During my first visit, I woke up the next day with a stomach bug. On this occasion, I ordered an empanada that was freshly made, but it had very little meat and lacked flavor. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. I hope others have a better experience.

The food is excellent, and the customer service is outstanding. I always enjoy my lunches and dinners there. Food rating: 5/5.

We've been coming here for years the empanadas are the best in Hackensack and the chicharones as well

This place is great, cheap and plenty, service is also fast and friendly, I've had their salmón, chicken, steak and always have been good. Definitely a place to go when hungry
