I went twice this summer, over Memorial Day Weekend and last Saturday, and the service was horrible both times. I dined indoors with my father in May. We were served our entrees before our appetizers. We waited for about 15 minutes after finishing our entrees for the apps to come out, but we ended up cancelling the order and leaving without them. This Saturday was not much better. I ordered pickup at around 5pm and was quoted a 30 minute wait. I arrived at 5:30 and the food was not ready. When I asked how long it would be the (very nice but overwhelmed) cashier told me she didn't know. It ended up being another 40 minutes and there were many other customers who were also waiting on food. I've worked in the restaurant industry. I understand unexpected busy weekends can affect service times. But pro tip: put a pause on accepting online orders when your kitchen gets in the weeds and open it up again when they are caught up. I'll be back eventually, but it honestly won't be for awhile. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
No thank you. Used to love this place, waited an hour tonight to get served greasy appetizers with NO napkins, had to wait in line at the register to get some. Other tables had the same problem, such a basic thing to give folks Napkins. Soups stood in the window over 10 minutes and served cold. Sent back and 1 still came back cold. Food was greasy and not up to the usual standard. Get some help that knows how to serve food when it's hot, people in line at the register can wait a minute....I guarantee you that they want their food served hot, too. Going to try new Ramen place in Baxter and Drunken Noodle in Crosby. So long Charng, won't be coming back. Didn't go in just so u know I can't tell u about inside or that kind of service I can tell u tho that I had the best egg rolls, and chicken fried rice. It's a #2 and I literally could just eat eggs rolls for the main dish. They are fabulous I have eaten here before but it was 2 yearishs or pandemic post. It was not that great to me then, but it was 100 percent better this time. New owners or food styles*not exactly sure what is different* besides the food. Anyways, I do recommend egg rolls kinda pricey 2 for $5 I think it is a lot but on the other hand I like them so much id probably pay $5 a piece. don't get any ideas ; around here there are very limited places to eat and I have not been to a Asian/Chinese/Korean/Thai restaurant in years 2 yearishs; and that was not the best then. However I decided to try again and I'm glad I did. Let me tell you what. I think that they are the best egg rolls I have ever ate and I am going to tell anyone and everyone to try them. Seriously, I am not kidding. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Deep Fried Wontons, Egg Roll, Fried Rice
Best Thai food in Minnesota! Love the drunken noodles and egg rolls. Remember, you're in northern MN, so add 1 to your normal spice level or ask for spice on the side to make the spice heat to your liking.
