I almost went away from here as my wife and I were subjected to a search by the rude security personnel before entering. never just got a drink in a fairly quiet pub before, and I'm just too old for. this kind of nonsense nowadays, and it makes me very warnful what kind of clientel they wear. Nevertheless, we have persevered, and what we found inside was actually quite good. brilliant beer selection, no bad prices for the opposite friendly employees, although they can really do with a lection in gin and tonicum, they store a good selection, but have no idea how to use it (nor the difference between tonic and soda). good atmosphere as the night was awake, great melodies. I was completely hated by the toilet attendant in the gents this type of ding. fits that they pee, then ready to give them paper towels and expects a tip in the suit. I have to say my whole experience was first corrupted by touching my lower regions of security and then being observed by a strange hired in the gents loos. the management must have a word.
We booked a table for 20 and spent the whole evening here. beer were great (including plenty of choice of ipas) unfortunately we did not order food, so this cannot comment. the staff was polite and efficient and we will undoubtedly be back for our next meeting.
Some friends and I were in the hotel near electricity showroom and had heart that they have a decent selection of beers so we jumped it. we found the refrigerators filled with cool beers that we had not seen yet. in the 4 days we were there, we all four nights tried something new. good vibe, the staff is friendly, and the beer was good.
We stopped off here for a drink before eating out in Hoxton to celebrate my daughters birthday. There were two problems even my daughter thought that music was too loud it was 6.30 pm and secondly there was an “outage” of draft bitter...and only lager was available. It a shame as the decor was interesting.
