Lounge Bohemia - Hackney

The cocktail menu at this restaurant was intriguing, but my overall experience was marred by a disagreement with the owner over whether gin, vodka, whiskey, etc. are suitable for individuals with celiac disease. The owner brushed off my concerns and insisted that I only had a "coeliac intolerance towards certain alcohols" in my head, offering me cocktails based on tequila instead. I was disappointed by the lack of respectful behavior towards customers and expected more professionalism.

I absolutely adored this place! I brought my husband here for a surprise birthday celebration during our trip to London. We both decided to try the tasting menu, which featured the West Meets East and Cocktail History options. The cocktails were incredibly innovative and skillfully crafted - I've never experienced such creative mixology before! We had a wonderful time chatting with the owner, Paul, and thoroughly enjoyed our delicious cocktail creations. It was such a fun and unique experience!

I don't typically write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience at this bar. If you don't enjoy feeling disrespected, I would recommend avoiding this establishment. Despite the fact that the bar was empty, we were treated rudely and told that we would not be served. I suggest steering clear of Lounge Bohemia, as no drink is worth being treated in such a disrespectful manner.

Absolutely amazing cocktailbar experience that I won’t forget! Super cool and cozy interior, the staff is so helpful and funny, and the cocktails really blew me away with innovative flavour combinations and presentations. Loved that we were served popcorn on the side. I will definitely come back the next time I’m in London!
