Red Planet Pizza - Hackney

5 pound pizzas! can't beat that! only ate here when i was staying at hostel next door, tasted good sober and even better drunk haha

Had a takeaway pizza from here on our way back to our room. Ordered a regular then changed before the made to a large -paid the difference and they gave me a regular. Ripped off. Pizza was average at best.

Ordered a 'Thai ' meal from the Red Planet Pizza aka Jasmine Garden via Hungryhouse. Absolutely terrible food dry, reheated, milky 'chicken green green ', horrible 'pad thai ' and the worst rice I have ever tasted. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I complained to Hungryhouse and the 'Jasmine Garden ' told them that they never have complaints and refused my request for a refund. Of course, this is the problem with places like Hungryhouse. Customers assume that restaurants have been checked and bad ones aren 't on the list. Of course, the opposite is true. Never again.

I arrived at the restaurant and was encountered by the extremely rude staff that immediately asked WHAT YOU WANT! as soon as I walked in the door. I soon found out that their offers in the window were deceptive and only on offer monday-thursday in microscopic print only found inside the building. I was told that the only thin crust pizza available was four cheese, and seeing somebody hefting a big stack of frozen pizzas across to the fryer I began to understand why. The pizza itself was nothing like described. It had very carbonised and burnt base/crust/sauce/cheese and the toppings were basically mature cheddar and feta, and was swimming with grease. Probably the worst pizza I have had since I was a student and living off sainsburys basics fodder.(definitely not worth £12!!!! avoid!

Ordered take away from Lewisham high Rd was very happy with pizza defo better than pizza hut! Good value and normal delivery service we have had many papers through mail box but this caught our attention
