I asked for space away from the elevator and as soon as I descended the elevator room was there, but could change it. I liked that the people in the room next to me could not hear like a few hotels. employees at the reception need additional training. the hired was friendly, but gave me keys and said thanks. he never said anything about hotel equipment. when I asked that he seemed a little fluffed. I asked myself about the caffe and he gave hours. I went to the next night and the hired was joking with guests and never came to help me. I'm tired of waiting and went to the restaurant over the street. that was a disappointing part of the hotel. I have online check-in and was recommended would get a text if space ready, but I never got a text.
Decided to head out on a weekend trip a bit earlier and book a hotel when we got tired on the way. Figured out at dinner in Cumberland that we could probably get to Hagerstown. We like Courtyard's, they're pretty consistent. When we arrived the parking lot was packed and, for a fairly large hotel, they had just TWO disabled parking spaces. I have difficulty walking so I had to carefully and slowly hike to the hotel from the fringes of the parking lot. That was my biggest issue. It was hard to get around the hotel and parking lot with a disability. The front desk agent was apologetic, but it wasn't like there was anything he could do. I probably won't stay again until (if I ever) regain the ability to walk normally. The room was very clean and tidy, though configured a bit differently than I'm used to. No complementary breakfast, but a nice cafe area with all kinds of coffee and light breakfast items for sale, though being right next to the mall thee are a TON of other eating options if you're in the mood for something a little less generic. Overall, nice hotel. Parking is a bit of a challenge if you arrive late and especially if you're disabled.
This is a lovely property. Up to date, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Cheerful and helpful staff. Easy to get to. Surrounded by lots of restaurants. (We carried out from Outback Another plus is there is a Sam’s Club with a gas station a minute’s drive away so we saved on refueling. An all around good overnight on our trip to visit family.
We have family that live in the area so this was our 2nd time staying here. I highly recommend this hotel. It is really clean, beds are really comfortable, and staff is very welcoming and friendly It is close to shopping, restaurants, and 81 and 70 highways for easy access. Only minor inconveniences are that the pool and hot tub are still closed due to covid and we could only get decaf coffee for the room coffeemaker. I just went downstairs and bought a regular coffee in the morning so not a really big deal. The cafe also offers some breakfast items for purchase and is open in the evening when you can order drinks. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel! We will always choose this hotel when staying in the area.
We arrived and I was seriously impressed. Our room was spotless and quiet. The AC ran nice and cold. The employees were friendly and genuinely seemed glad to see us. Tips: great restaurant (it says diner across the parking lot with a great selection of food. Hotel is beside a large mall. Great stay!
