Hahndorf Inn

The menu seemed extensive so we gave the Hahndorf Inn a try for dinner. We ordered the crumbed eggplant with chips apple sauce and pork belly with mashed potatoes and gravy with apple strudel for dessert. Both dishes were extremely generous and we were...not surprised to see that takeaway containers were freely available for leftovers. The meals were well cooked and presented and very enjoyable.

Enjoyed dinner here on the last night in Hahndorf and would really like to have been able to go back.

Tourist trap in terms of price but the food is so yummy! The knuckles are a must, mash potatoes is excellent. Extremely busy place so go there early. Cosy decor inside, tables outside which we chose due to great weather. Cold great beer as you would expect from a German brasserie.

Beautiful pate and taste of germany plate but please bring back german potato salad as dried reconstituted mash potato is nasty and cheapens your meal.

We went here whilst visiting our family from Aldinga Beach. It was mid week for lunch and fortunately we got here just before the lunchtime rush. Lots of coach tours but we were not disappointed, the quality of the food and the huge range of special beers on tap were great. Fed a family of 3 adults and 3 children, with drinks, for $104.
