Grano E Acqua - Hakodate

This restaurant is fantastic! The dough is light and delicious. The chef even made a vegan pizza for me, even though it wasn't listed on the menu. I highly recommend this place.

The chef was extremely pleasant and accommodating, offering to make a vegan pizza for me even though it wasn't listed on the menu. The pizza was topped with mushrooms and broccoli, and I requested some chili oil. It was delicious, and the crust was outstanding!

My partner and I went to dinner and asked the cook for a vegan pizza and pasta (no vegan or vegetarian options listed on the regular menu) and he was more than happy to commit. He confirmed if we were all right with garlic and mushrooms to which we said, "Yes." And he continued to produce the most amazing vege-based pizza and pasta. One of our favorite eating experiences in Japan so far!

Really tasty vegan pizza. Hardly anything in Hakodate, so Happy Cow suggested this and the cook was super friendly and helpful. Pizza was quick and the place was super warm, which on a cold day was great. he knew what vegan meant.

I followed the advice of another reviewer and asked for a vegan pizza. The chef (also owner? was happy to oblige. I loved it. Would definitely recommend to others visiting Hakodate.
