The Fisherman's Taverna - Half Moon Bay

My sister, niece and I stopped here yesterday after going to Farmer John's Pumpkin Patch.

Drove the coast to HMBDidn't know where to eat, but we were very hungrySaw the words Fresh Fish and drove closer to investigate.

Crab dip was subpar but steamed shrimp was awesome. Server never cleared the table before bringing out more food. Then the runner looked confused when I asked her to remove the dirty plates first. My husband noticed the building was under negative air pressure caused from Kitchen hood exhaust (kitchen saloon doors sucked in) causing hot humid exterior air to rush into the restaurant when the exterior doors would open. Sit away from doors if you want A/C. Outdoor seating looked nice and led to long pier on the water.
