Temujin - Halifax

I like the food and it’s the only option of this cuisine local to me. The salt and pepper chips are amazing!! However, the mains for vegans is vegan chicken nuggets in either sweet and sour, black bean and garlic or salt and pepper flavour.

Super healthy food, they do This Isn't Chicken which is great and a good variety of vegan sauces and oils etc. Restaurant is a little dated.

Loads of different veg, tofu and qourn. Choose what you like, take it to the chefs, choose your oil, garlic and garnishes and they cook it up for you. Ask for the veggie wok. Absolutely delicious. Food with drama- watch the woks light up with flames as your food cooks. Beautiful location.

Temujins is my favourite local restaurant which provides a great selection of vegan veggie friendly ingredients that you can then watch being stir fried in front of your eyes, which makes for a unique dining experience. The woks are cleaned between use, but there is a dedicated veggie wok if you ask for it and the staff can provide you with a detailed list of which stir fry sauces are veggie friendly. By the way, I've been eating at Temujins for over 15 years on and off, but when I became vegetarian about 10 months ago it became apparent that Temujins really was the only local restaurant that provided a great selection of food. And now that I've become vegan, then Temujins is probably the only restaurant in Sowerby Bridge where I can eat. Hope you enjoy the experience as much as I do.

We went here for my 9 years olds birthday and it didn't disappoint. Love the little tick sheets you get to choose the oils and sauces before you go up to select your noodles, protein and veggies. My two boys loved choosing there food this way. Given you can go back as many times as you can humanly consume, you can try as many as you like or just stick to the same one if you find a favourite. I let me boys have free reign on my last bowl and choose all my oils, garnishes and sauces. Of course, it was chilli everything turned out really nice too. Seeing the chefs cook you selection right in front of you is awesome too. We will be back, in the meantime going to purchase one of the do it at home kits they have for sale so we can try and recreate the experience midweek.
