Blue Olive Les Mille Une Nuits

The pictures speak for itself. Not only is this restaurant using photos off Google for THEIR menu ... they served me something that doesn’t even come CLOSE to the photos they are advertising.... I got catfished and it wasn’t even good ???? ....

I have heard a lot of good things about this place. So my wife and I went there looked at the menu and left as we were unsure what the food looked like or what was a popular dish and we were also confused by the theme and atmosphere.

I received a Blue Olive gift card for Christmas. Since then, I have attempted to order takeout FIVE TIMES and was only successful at doing so once. Even then, they would not accept my gift card because despite having the same owner (so I am told) the downtown Moncton location does not accept gift cards. Four of my five Blue Olive experiences were at the downtown Moncton location. The first three times I called, they were either too busy to complete a takeout order (it was not delivery, I planned to go get it), did not have the supplies to make what I wanted to eat, or did not offer the lunch special on the week day that I wanted to purchase it. On my fourth attempt, I was finally successful at placing an order. However, as I mentioned above, when I went to the restaurant to pick up my food, I was told that they do not accept gift cards at that location. That brings me to my fifth experience with Blue Olive. Tonight, I was at the mall in Dieppe and thought I would place a takeout order to pick up on my way home. When I called, I made sure to ask if they accepted gift cards before placing my order. The person who answered the phone was not sure so I was placed on hold. I was then informed that I could not use my gift card to pay for my takeout tonight. They told me that I should check back tomorrow. Well. I will most definitely not be checking back tomorrow. I do not have time to go back tomorrow. I also do not have time to put up with this nonsense any longer. I am fed up. This is a gift card that was paid for with real money and I cannot use it. I will never set foot in a Blue Olive again and will strongly encourage people I know not to do so either.

Service was great, the food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was beautiful and cozy.

I believe this is our 5th or so time here. Food is delicious and very fresh tasting. Service was excellent and cheerful.
