While it may not be exactly the same as the original, with thicker and less spiced meat and a less sweet sauce, the end result is incredibly delicious. Pair it with their dragon fries and you will find yourself returning again and again. They have many other tasty options on the menu, and their specials are fantastic. Additionally, their pressed juices are also a favorite.
The burrito had all the ingredients I was looking for, and the Dragon Fries were a pleasant surprise.
I was not impressed with this restaurant, especially considering it is listed as a "top rated" Happy Cow establishment. The server was unfriendly and provided poor customer service. The atmosphere was not pleasant and the temperature inside was too cold. Despite our group and two other tables inquiring about espresso, the restaurant did not offer any cafe drinks. The server mentioned that she has informed the owner numerous times about the customers' desire for espresso. The food was generally disappointing, with the exception of the caesar salad, which was surprisingly excellent. We ordered a wrap with "crispy chicken" but it appeared to be tofu. When we asked the server about the substitution, she replied that the restaurant is vegan and does not serve real chicken. This response seemed odd to us, as we are long-time vegans. Overall, I would not return to this restaurant and can only recommend the caesar salad. We ended up giving the leftovers to our dog.
Doing an overnight in Halifax and came across this gem. I had a carrot, apple ginger juice from the fresh fridge and my husband had a strawberry fields smoothie. We then both had the chick’un Caesar wrap with potatoes and it was DELICIOUS! So filling and tasty. Our server was really friendly and helpful with local recommendations for the area. Thank you for having us!
Had the Donair and it was very, very good. One warm for dinner and one cold for breakfast. I would like you try more the next time I am in the area.
