Einstein - Hamburg

After the long renovation this side of the high-air bridge, which added a lift to it, the Einstein chain decided to leave the building and now a brand new restaurant, just two weeks old, has opened up as grindelberger. the ambiente is brand new, bright and fresh. in contrast to the dark and pub-like old. the menu is now quite simple, with few salads, steaks and pizzas, and the prices are higher than what you use at Einstein! they have not yet made any marketing, but the location will help anyway. for a quick bite it is worth a visit, so far.

We were both here to throw a round cash after we were in the cinema. many people in their twenties (probably students) and some in their 50s 60s also. rock music in the background, not according to the lemon...Margaritas were special, at 6 for two. they were a bit too sweet, but at least some tequila in them. Coconut curry suppe, garnelen kebab, olivenmix and barbados salat (mixed salate with ananas) were ok, but nothing wow. but they should not expect gourmet food here: just dinge, made right. the garnels tended to overdone and dry, although everything was served with a garnel kebab, so they do not really need to order the extra! the service was friendly and the food was served quickly. the total invoice was 42, which appears fair. it was a good basis for the drinks we had in several bars afterwards. there are 6 Einsteins in hamburg and we come back.

Big burger here, as well as everything they order. it's all pretty hearty, they don't come here for Posh food. that's not meant. the waiters are excellent.

Siamo stati qui due volte, la prima volta abbiam preso da bere e uno strudel (tremendo) molliccio e scaldato al microonde..la secondaVolta a cena con amici: carne secca, salatissima e patatine molli..non torneremo più!

Service war schlecht... keine Nachfrage, ob uns das Essen schmeckt. Mein Freund hatte die BBQ-Pizza-war ganz okay, ich hatte das Putensteak mit Backkartoffel und Quark bestellt - das Fleisch war sehr trocken und leider gar nicht zart, die Kartoffel schmeckte sehr komisch, als sei sie nicht richtig durch...der Quark war auch nicht nach meinem Geschmack. Weil der Kellner (Bediener K.3) leider nicht nach einiger Zeit fragte, ob alles okay ist(komme selbst aus der Gastro-das sollte schon passieren!), konnte ich mein Gericht leider auch nicht reklamieren. Da war das Angebot des Kellners (am Ende beim Abräumen), mir etwas neues zu bringen auch überflüssig, da hatte ich dann schon keinen Appetit mehr! Schade!
