Fisch So is a charming and authentic little fish shack offering affordable fish dishes for the people. I love the place and always return when visiting Hamburg. A piece of advice: Avoid the fish soup it contains more salt than The Dead...Sea Order the Fischfrikadellen (fish cakes), but ask for bread instead of potato salad Point out the pieces of fish you want them to fry don’t just order Panfisch, which come drowned in a sweet mustard sauce If you follow this simple advice you will be more than happy (c:

This is an unpretentious cafe type eating house cooking fresh fish to order and doing it rather well We had the sole which was simply cooked on the flat grill and was delicious ; other dishes especially the soup looked equally good.

Fantastically fresh and tasty. No frills setting but excellent quality food and great service. Highly recommended
