I go there for a full meal for about 5 euro! second, the staff (in the rule one of the owners is always behind the counter,) is very nice and friendly, but on natural wise. it is easy to make light and good talks and to drive in politics or other themes. it is especially funny when the two brothers are there at the same time because they often have completely different views to the same thema. third, the small restaurant size makes for an intimate atmosphere. especially for those who are new in the opposite, it is a good place to meet people in a casual environment. the contact between guests is often self-evident or initiated by the personal. Overall, it is a fast in-and-out for those who only want to eat well (complementary tee is always served) and cheap. it is a convenient spot for a slow afternoon lesson for those who want more than an anonymous fast bite.

I'm from Hamburg myself and came across this place on a normal day of Saturday shopping in the Monckeberg Str. area. I've been back many times since. Why? First, because the food, which is a modern and creative medley of oriental specialties and local favorites, is not only excellent in quality, healthy, very quick on the plate, but it's also cheap! I go there for a full meal for about 5 euros!Second, the staff (usually one of the owners is always behind the counter), is very nice and friendly, but in a natural way. It's easy to make light and good conversation and drift into politics or other topics at will. It's especially funny when the two brothers are there at the same time because they often have completely different views on the same topic. Third, the small restaurant size makes for an intimate atmosphere. Especially for those, who are new to the area it's a good place to meet people in a casual setting. Contact between guests often naturally establishes or is initiated by the staff. In sum, it's a quick in-and-out for those who just want to eat well (complementary tea is always served) and cheaply. It's a comfortable hang out spot for a slow afternoon hour for those who want more than an anonymous quick bite.
