Ixtapa Grille - Hamden

A nice Mexican restaurant, with good fajitas. Be warned that the food is not spicy at all (but I'm sure you can order a hot sauce! . A grilled cheese is a grilled cheese toast my daughter liked it, but the fries were better in her view. She drank a bit of chocolate milk, too

Delicious, fresh, quick. The servers are handsome and charismatic. Excellent first impression. Delicious tacos and creamy refried beans. Can't wait to try the burrito that I ordered to go. Blackberry margarita was an excellent choice also. Looking forward to returning soon. Gina Hamden

We drive down here from Madison bc it’s better than any Mexican food near us. Truly worth the drive, the food is always flavorful and plentiful; we usually order a dish to go for later as well. The service is always excellent: quick, attentive, and friendly. Ixtapa, please open another location up near Madison, we love you!

Their flank steak is delicious. I went on a weekday, so it was pretty empty. This is why I don't know much about the atmosphere. The place is clean. The tables were refurbished.

Food was excellent and the staff is friendly and accommodating.
