Jitterbug Cafe - Hamilton

Found this place to be rather unwelcoming. Went with a larger group and asked if we could join tables, answer was simply “no” you are not allowed to move them. We ended up some sitting inside, some out which was fine because some like it hot and sunny and some don’t. Food was quite good. You younger woman brought all the food out to us and was quite cheerful and welcoming. Older woman behind the counter looked quite annoyed that we were there. Even though the food was good we won’t be rushing back there. Attitude towards your customers is what keeps them coming back, or not.

The menu at this restaurant is simple yet delicious! We tried the Cheddar and Bacon Omelette, Jitterbug Breakfast, and Greek Salad, all of which were fantastic. The sausage and omelette were packed with flavor, the whole wheat and rye toasts were crispy and fresh, and the salad was also very fresh. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back for another visit!

Stopped in for a hot beverage and was quite pleased with everything. Lattes were terrific (especially with a salted caramel shot). Great place to grab a quick coffee.

The ice cream at this restaurant is excellent, with a variety of great flavors that surpass anything from Nestlé. I tried the Norwegian Lox with a Caesar salad topped with homemade croutons and it was fantastic! The owner shows genuine care for her customers and cultivates a positive relationship with them.

Great little coffee shop with a wide variety of plant-based milks, and friendly staff.
