Maxwells Chocolates Ice Cream

Received a box of truffles this week and I am very disappointed. They are not the same as the ones I had 2 years ago. They are smaller and the chocolate is not as good, will not be buying them again. Very, very disappointed. Shame on whoever made the decision to make the change.

Looking for delicious chocolate but willing to endure some of the worst customer service around? Look no further than Maxwell's. Despite the great chocolate they offer, my recent experience at this shop left much to be desired. Despite living 25 minutes away, I found myself stopping by while in the area. However, the lack of customer service overshadowed the delicious treats. Upon arrival, I was ignored by the employees for several minutes before finally being helped. The chocolate I purchased was good, but the overall experience was so off-putting that I will not be returning. The unwelcoming atmosphere and lack of acknowledgment from the staff left a lasting impression on me.

I love everything about Maxwell's! Divine chocolates and all different kinds of goodies. Best candy place around!

Whenever I visit Colgate, I always make sure to stop by this restaurant to bring home gifts for my family. They have fantastic chocolate, ice cream, and cakes. The owner even makes custom cakes and delivers them to the campus for students who want to feel special on their birthday or other occasions when they can't be there themselves. They also offer Easter baskets, chocolate-dipped strawberries for Valentine's Day, and other tasty treats. My child doesn't like cake, so the owner delivered a box full of gingerbread men for his birthday instead! In December, they even have a beautiful gingerbread replica of the Colgate Inn. Don't worry about waiting in line, as the service is fast.

If you find yourself in the city, this place is a must-visit! They offer a fantastic variety of chocolates and the service is very friendly. The prices may be on the higher side, but they are justified by the high quality of the products.
