Our Taste of Greece - HAMILTON SOUTH

This restaurant is unmistakable - offering traditional fare, affordable prices, cleanliness, and excellent service. The dishes and entrees were delicious, but the baklava was simply heavenly!

A big thank you to Martes and the staff for the fantastic lunch we had today at Our Taste of Greece. We indulged in a sampler plate, a gyro, and a plate of lamb tacos in a lovely and laid-back atmosphere. The experience was absolutely magical.

The restaurant has a friendly staff and a great location. The trio of appetizers, including halloumi fries and pastitsio moussaka, all tasted authentic and delicious. The Greek desserts were even better than what I have had in Greece!

With the most breathtaking view of the breaking waves at the dixon park beach . aterrace to enjoy the sun and a few vinos we enjoyed our meal in restaurant,whilst this is not a supermarket restaurant it does a good work to satisfy their taste. martez with always great smiles and a warm welcome, controls the restaurant, nothing is a problem and service is always friendly and fast. a must is the inkfish and my favorite is the sampler plate or the board of moussaka. Spanakopita,salada and pastitsio.with feta fries ... I never command an appetizer as the meal is huge. try them on a beautiful day that they will not be disappointed.

The venue is situated in a great spot as part of the surf club with great views of the ocean. On top of that the food is of a high standard and not expensive. Servings are of a good size and the mezzo plate is...a great starter. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone and we will be back. As it only opens on a Sunday bookings are recommended.
