The parking lot was mostly empty, meaning you won’t be lured in by a scenic view; you visit this place for a reason, and trust me, it's worth it. Chef Kevin’s impressive 35 years of experience as a 'wingman' speaks volumes about his sauce creations. The names of the sauces might not give much insight, but the flavors are absolutely mouthwatering. My order of 10 wings with two different sauces transformed my perspective on wings. I found myself paying close attention to the tenderness and freshness of the meat, the color of the bones, and neglecting the sauces. I've realized that I had been conditioned by mediocre bar menus, and I've been missing out—these wings put anything I’ve had before to shame. If I could truly express just how delicious and rich the flavors of the sauces were, I would, but words wouldn't do them justice. They were on a whole new level. Unfortunately, I must now say goodbye and leave it at that.
I ordered 10 wings for $10.99, and they were absolutely delicious! They offer a wide range of sauces that you can mix and match, all made to order. I chose Billy and Sweet Chili, and they were fantastic. You absolutely have to try the Lumpia; it’s served piping hot and tastes amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, regularly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The only downside is that the restaurant is small, with tables seating a maximum of four people, and they do not offer fountain drinks. Everything is a la carte, so you can expect the prices to be slightly higher than those at typical fast food joints. Overall, I’m definitely planning to come back here on Wednesdays!
When you walk in, the atmosphere is simple; it’s clearly a family-owned spot with a bit of a dive feel, but it’s warm and welcoming. I went ahead and ordered a bacon cheeseburger along with some cheese fries. The woman at the counter was quick to assure us that they use never-frozen, handmade half-pound patties, which instantly made me excited for what was to come. The burger was enormous—I would even venture to say it was bigger than half a pound! It was incredibly satisfying, and all the toppings tasted fresh. Honestly, I would return just for the burger; it was that fantastic. I’m definitely interested in trying the wings on my next visit, but with that amazing burger taking center stage on the menu, it might be hard to resist ordering it again.
I've been wanting to try this spot! First time I attempted it was the day after Thanksgiving and they were closed. Wah-waaaaaaaaah This time, my mom, my daughter, her boyfriend and I went here for lunch before going to the movies. I can see why most who eat here take their food to go, because it's pretty small inside. There's a deli counter when you first walk in with various sweets. We placed our order and settled down at the round table in the middle of the small shop. Of course for review purposes, we had to try a variety of things. We got an order of lumpia and two flavors of wings. The wings were tasty. The lumpia was very good! Almost as good as the best lumpia I've eaten from my filipino friend's mom so that's impressive. My daughter's boyfriend had never tried lumpia so this was a great first impression. I got The Melt and realized I don't care for Rye bread haha BUT it was still delicious!!! Mouth watering just thinking about it... my mom ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was massive. The kids both got grilled cheese with added bacon. Everyone enjoyed their food and it was plentiful at an excellent price point. We even got a couple of sweets to go, we enjoyed the meal so much. It's in an awkward location, the decor isn't anything that'll impress, but the food and the personable service is more than worth it. I look forward to returning again and trying more of their menu AND getting lumpia again. Come to think of it, this is the BEST lumpia I've eaten at a restaurant!
Ordered some wings for the Super Bowl. The price of wings is crazy and the size is just as bad....tgey must look fro the most anorexic birds to kill. When there is more bone than meat, that's a problem. Then I had the Garlic Parmesan that stayed with me for days...everything tasted like garlic parmesan...my ice cream was garlic parmesan! I won't be jumping up to go back any time soon is all I can say!
