Delaware Delicacies Smoke House

I just drove two hours to get to this place. When I arrived the owner came out and asked me for my vaccination card. I told him I wasn't vaccinated. He told me to go to Walgreens and get vaccinated and then he would serve me. He then went on a rant about all the new strains of Covid that are coming to kill is and then told me to go home. I feel bad for him. He seemed so scared.

Fantastic, smoked trout and Gouda cheese. Been looking to find him for 20 years finally found it.

After reading the negative reviews about Ray let me just say this man runs a business out of his home/property, with that said he does have some rules for being on HIS property and as an elderly man he asks that you are vaccinated from COVID and wash your hands thoroughly before you come into his smokehouse. Regardless of your opinions those are his rules for his property. With that said I found Ray to be a delight! Yes he is a bit eccentric but once you get through his requirements he is very delightful! he has a variety of smoked products for sale. I purchased some salmon, trout and cheese all of which were delicious. I cant wait to go back got get some more!

Ray sells good smoked goods. Once you confirm you're vaccinated, you're expected to mask up and there's a great hand washing station he'll ask you to use before you come in to the shop. He's a character for sure, has a lot of eclectic knowledge, and is an expert in his craft. Got the cold smoked salmon, hot smoked salmon, smoked cheddar, smoked Gouda, and some t shirts! All excellent quality and the fish and cheese is so frickin delicious.

This guy puts the n in nasty. We went to his dump to order some smoked Trout. Got attacked at the front door by a person Ray with a hasmat mask on and another mask underneath. He demanded to know if we were vaccinated . When we said no he said take a hike. We said why dont you put a sign on your door. He said because I dont have to now get lost. I think the sign would prevent him from gettiting off on telling people to get lost. Hes double masked double vaked double boosted and a prisoner in his own world. Do yourself and this guy a favor and leave him alone. NASTY
