Suggestion, try to visit during non peak times. The singular wait staff dealt calmly with the crush of noon time patrons.
You can visit the Cafe without paying to visit the Museum, which is why I thought it needed its own review rather than as an aside to a review of the Museum. When we had visited the Sprengel museum, the cafe there had turned out to be a rather posh restaurant. This was much more our sort of place, with a younger clientele and a less stuffy atmosphere. The menu seemed to be varied and portions looked huge.
An intelligent restaurant in an interesting location. A plus point goes to the varied menu selection. This is guaranteed for everyone!
Beautiful café and bistro inside the Landesmuseum Hannover (can also enter the museum without admission). In beautiful weather, the lush outdoor spaces can be used in the protected courtyard of the museum. There are some hot dishes and very delicious homemade cakes. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Very recommended.
Always polite, always fresh. I am very sad to make it through Corona again
