Probably another example of a place that is great when the owner is there, but it is missing if the owner is not. first I said they didn't have kokosmilch. then told me that the coco coffee is made with cocos milk. I said I had a milk allergy. I got a coconut latte and they added chocolate syrup (why!) and then they did another without chocolate syrup. cool hidden place to visit.
It's amazing! the owner opened only a month ago and made everything (lights, teller, tassen, tables, from recycled materials. he is incredibly friendly and welcoming and loves to talk to them about his views about plastic pollution and recycling. not on the menu, but he made us a vegan coconut coffee (best I had so far in vietnam and told us he would also vegan banh mi (did not try.) I would give 5 stars if it were possible. in any case there!
We found this place on Google and learned that it was in many local tours in Hanoi. It's one of the top 3 things I do every time I get back within my first 24 hours in town. The owner met the other day and sounded like nothing short of a fan girl. They have several vegan nibbles that are delicious and their drinks are the tops. We always get the fresh and fried spring rolls, coconut coffee, mango smoothies and Vietnamese coffees. Everybody's the best! Great place for families, technomads and anyone who takes care of the concept of recycling and saving the planet.
Although listed as Veg Cafe, they do not offer vegan milk alternatives.
