I have placed several orders which were wrong so I had to go back and correct the lady behind the desk who essentially stated it was my fault because I had not ordered the item (I clarified twice what I was ordering over the phone with the same lady). She even charged me twice for her mistakes when I went back and asked for the food which was not even lukewarm when I got it back to the house (not even .5 miles away). You call an order in and you hear the teenagers in the background cursing that they have to place another orderthis is just ridiculous. Not to mention the time where I waited for 45 mins on a supposedly 15 minute order which was just sitting on top of an oven while the teenagers were whipping each other with towels which you could see into the kitchen. Yes the crab cakes are good but at what price do they come at? Bad/rude service, burnt calamari, soggy cheese steaks, and when all said and done, their mentality is that it is all your fault. Never again friends...just stay away!
I think they make a whole bunch of cheese pizzas the day before and then just put whatever topping you order on and reheart in the oven. not impressed!
The taco pizza used to be the best in town but the past couple of times, they really skimped on the ingredients. We ordered one several months ago and there was barely any cheese on it. It fell apart since there was no cheese to hold it together. The next time we got a taco pizza I told them to make sure to put enough cheese on it and they did. Last evening, we ordered a taco pizza and it was terrible! There was barely any meat or cheese on it. It was like eating crust with a little lettuce and tomato sprinkled on top. I returned this pizza and asked for my money back. (Large taco pizzas are close to $20 which isn't cheap. I didn't receive an apology or anything for my trouble. The cashier just snickered a little making it look I had the problem! I did tell the cashier that we won't be coming here anymore. Also, their service is terrible. Once when I called in an order, I was on hold 10 minutes. I ended up hanging up and calling again. They took my order right away on the 2nd call. Dining room service is so slow also. The one waitress would rather talk to the customers than wait on tables. I know the economy isn't good and small businesses need to cut corners but this place won't be in business much longer if this is how they operate.
My wife and I started going to Cappella's soon after they opened. They started out great, no problems, great food. In the past couple months they have dropped considerably. They boasted about a new chef, not sure if he's the problem or not. I always give a restaurant 3 chances before deciding to stop going there. The last 3 times they have messed up our order, forgot parts of an order, and food quality has been poor. Today was the last straw. My wife called in an order for 2 subs, and a french fry. We were told 15-20 minutes. We went to pick up our order after 15 minutes, and it wasn't done. In fact it didn't get done for almost an hour after we ordered. Meanwhile people came in, ordered, and left before us! I figured at least the food will be hot this time. The manager gave us the food, with no apologies for an hour wait and we left. Here's the worst part the food was terrible. You'd think taking an hour for 2 subs and fries would make them great...nope. The fries were cold, greasy and soggy. The eggplant parm sub was rubbery, the cheese steak was cold so cold the cheese wasn't even melted. They didn't bake the subs at all, as the rolls were cold and rubbery. So we're done, and if you know of a good sub shop in Hanover Pa we're open for suggestions.
Terrible service, I waited over 30 mins and no one came to our table to even to tell us that it will be a while but inside we waited with no drinks or anything, but yet the table that came after us got service within 5 mins. I complained to the manager and all he said was sorry.
