Sign Of The Horse Brewery - Hanover

Met friends for dinner. Ordered a burger and a flatbread, both were delicious. Alcohol was weak. We just rounded the failure out with shots of vodka to help ease the pain. There was a light crowd yet the wait staff kept commenting how busy they were. One can only assume they are accustomed to empty tables. The bar had empty stools and the dining area had empty tables yet the staff kept commenting about how busy they were. Um.....ok.........? I realize there was an event in town but I'm not certain I would consider empty tables, busy. Some received their food quickly after ordering, others waited over an hour. The live musical act was nice but not what I would expect to hear at a brewery on a Saturday night. Acoustic songs by Poison and GNR....perhaps a coffee house but a Saturday night bar?

Great beer and good food. The best is the awesome atmosphere that you wouldn’t guess from seeing the exterior. Live music too!

Went in for some drinks on my birthday and waiter was very rude and sassy to me and my group of friends. Talked down to us and made us feel like a nuisance for asking questions about beer selection. BEWARE RUDE EMPLOYEES.

Son of a motherless goat! Great name and taste. Shea Was very nice and helpful. Definitely coming back.

Our bartender, (I never got her name, I’m sorry! working Tuesday 5/30/23 afternoon was awesome. Very pleasant and gave us a ton of recommendations of places to go in the area. Did not eat here but the beer and Merch selection was on point. 10/10 would visit again!
